Mississippi

The Mississippi project consists of 800 units all located in downtown Pascagoula. The need for housing in Pascagoula is undeniable, with employers ranging from the US Navy, the largest Chevron refinery in the world and critical shipbuilding providing a steady stream of residents. Because of years of poor management, neglect and lack of direction, the affordable housing stock in the community has fallen into disuse and disfavor. This has forced many persons of moderate means to look far outside the community to find safe, clean and affordable homes near their work.

In association with Affordable Housing Partners of Florida, Fleur is acquiring nearly 50% of the available multifamily units available in the Downtown area. Through well placed restorations, and a long-term plan, we look to be on the vanguard of bringing a wide and secure mix of residents into Pascagoula, to use our units to support personal and economic growth in the surroundings, and to make sure that there will be a secure and stable supply of residences available for those who want to be a part of their town.
