The Louisiana project has consisted of consolidating over 1,000 units in eight separate locations that share important commonalities. All the buildings are of 1970’s vintage, and in need of important renovation in order to remain useful to the residents and the community. Need is apparent as all properties have enjoyed long-term high occupancy rates. Rents are stable and affordable. Our aim is to create this as a permanent feature

Fleur has worked with best-in-market partners to propose vibrant locations with a focus on architectural amenities, core rehabilitations and community based programs to bring the developments into area solutions. In Louisiana, we have partnered with The Mary Fund, a 40 year old 501(c)3 support agency to offer housing opportunities for those bankrupted or housing poor through medical debt. Louisiana has the highest level of medical bankruptcy in the country, and this partnership can in some way leverage our resources for the betterment of the surrounding community.

Our goal is to leverage proven market solutions to create innovative futures. It is an exciting task we are eager to bring to completion.
